Memi san had been to kerala for a weeks vacation after his long awited exams. One of his "VALIYAACHAN" (Fathers brother) had been admitted in some hospital for a surgery.
Memi accompinied by his two cousins arrives at the hospital to see his valiyachan, so the three approaches the gaurd and asks him to allow them to visit him.
Gaurd was very adament in not allowing them to see the patient as the vistors time was already over.
Memi thought since there were three persons, the gaurd did not allow as there is a superstetion in kerala that for doing a thing if three persons go that will now happen (monnu peru poyal karyam moonchum ennannu chollu)
Memi tells his cousins to wait outside and he goes inside the hospital.
The following conversation happened between memi san and the gaurd.
Memi : Chetta chetta please njan onnu kandottae
Gaurd : Thannodallae paranjathu visitors time kazhinjal areyum kanan sammathikkarilla ennu.
Memi : Chetta njan orupadu doorae innu varukaya, enikku vaikunneram thirichu pokanumullathanu
Gaurd : Iyalodu maryadakku paranjal mansilavillae
Memi : chetta chetta oru 5 minute edukkayullu njan mathramae pokullu
Gaurd finally agrees after few minutes
Gaurd : Ok pettennu kandittu varanam, ketto?
Memi : Ok chettta thank you so much
Gaurd : Shari patientintae perenthanu?
As we have explained you earlier in the blog that memi doesn't have a habit of remembering the names of his relatives, memi was in a confused state now, anyway he regained his state and replied
memi : chetta patientintae peru "VALIYACHAN"
Gaurd (looking weirdly) : edo athenikku mansilayi njan chodichathu patientinte peranu, allathae aranu kidakkunnathu ennalla
Memi : Chetta atha njan paranjathu "valiyachan"
After another couple of minutes of conversation gaurd sends him out of the hospital and then says oh my time was wasted.
